Qiao: Mr. Ye, hello! When did you become a reader of the library? How did you get into the library? What are the pleasant experiences and good times in the library?

Ye: When I was a high school student, I became a reader of the library, probably in 1997. At that time, in order to watch Sophie's World, a library card was issued at the Dalang Town Library in Dongguan. The pleasant experience is that I have visited my library with my daughter every two weeks in recent years, making her a loyal library reader and a good habit of reading.

Qiao: What role did librarians play in your use of the library? Does he/she help you with your reading? Which librarian is you most impressed with? Which of his/her services make you feel very satisfied?

Ye: Librarians play a role in guiding and assisting in finding books. When I wrote my undergraduate thesis, the university librarians played a big role in my reading. The librarian I am most impressed with is the librarian Cheng teacher at the university. She helped me find the references I needed most.

Qiao: Have you used the 24-hour self-service library? What do you think is the difference between a self-service library and a library of manual services? Which library do you have more library resources and are more satisfied with?

Ye: I have used the 24-hour self-service library. The function of self-service loan repayment is very convenient. It is better if the library card of Dongguan Library can be identified on the self-service loan machine of Songshan Lake. The self-service library is more convenient, basically no queues, and more convenient than manual services. The book resources I got at the Songshan Lake Library were more satisfactory.

Qiao: Has your child ever participated the English game activity of the Dongguan Children's Library.? During the winter and summer vacations, the Children's Department of Dongguan Library also has many activities to stimulate children's reading interest. Will your child take the initiative to ask for participation?

Ye: I have participated in a children's library event. Generally attend the weekend activities held by the Songshan Lake Library, such as reading contests, picture book readings, etc.

Qiao: What is the wonderful library that you and your children imagine?

Ye: The beautiful library books don't have to be the most, but the books must be classics. Books that stand the test of time are good friends of mankind.
